Severn Screen productions receive six BAFTA CYMRU nominations

Severn Screen productions Mr. Burton and Ar y Ffin have, between them, received six nominations for the 2025 BAFTA Cymru awards.

The nominations are for:

Harry Lawtey, Actor, Mr. Burton
Rhys Carter, Director: Fiction, Ar y Ffin
Tim Hodges, Editing, Mr. Burton
Stuart Biddlecombe, Photography & Lighting: Fiction, Mr. Burton
All of the sound team, Mr. Burton
All of the production team, Television Drama, Ar y Ffin

Ed Talfan, Creative Director at Severn Screen said: “It takes an almighty team effort to bring great stories to the screen, so it’s fantastic to see that work being recognised in this way.  We’d like to extend our thanks and congratulations to all the nominees and to everybody who’s played a part in these productions. We couldn't do it without you!”

The winners will be announced on Sunday 5th October at the 2025 BAFTA Cymru Awards in Newport.
