The film stars Aimee-Ffion Edwards as Maggie Jenkins, a woman forced to defend her isolated homestead against marauding thieves and religious zealots. When her outlaw brother unexpectedly returns, long-buried family wounds ignite amidst mounting violence. As the first feature greenlit under the Sinema Cymru initiative, Lluest is a haunting, Welsh-language epic that fuses traditional genre tropes with raw, atmospheric grit to tell a cinematic story of retribution and a desperate fight for survival.
